Since I did the work and they were completed, I decided to go ahead and upload them. Now upgraded users who have filled out an application in the applications area can take advantage of these new features.
Go to the Blog panel to create your blog and if you want to disable anonymous comments, you can do that in the configure area in there.
Upgraded users can also use the shoutbox.
The chatroom was not completed fully so I have no idea when/if it ever will be.
Because of the changes, you may have to delete your browser cookies to log into the site. Go to Google or another site then delete all your cookies then wait about 10 minutes then come back to try again. If you are typing in the url to bypass the front page, DON'T! If you type in something and it has sid=blah,blah,blah, that is your problem right there. Just use the url sportsfansx.com
With the addition of the new Entertainment section we will be accepting applications for Moderators for those areas.
The rule is we have a max of 3 moderators per area so there are still a few left inside Sports too.
If you would like to put your name into the choices, I would say do the following:
For one of the sports area openings, PM either Patriot_Dynasty12 or lindydawgs8 with which section you'd like.
For one of the entertainment area openings, PM myself with the information. And I would really want the mod to be really interested in the subject and not just being a moderator of just anything for the Entertainment section. As of now, only the Music is set with the moderators in there.
This way we can keep it ordered.
If there is a section you would like to suggest we have that isn't here then PM myself or Drac. If that gets approved, you would also have first shot at moderating it as well.
For established sections, there is a post limit. Right now we are looking for people who posted at least 50 posts but because we're new, this rule is subject to change and will be looked at on a case-by-case basis. One way we can know who you are is by what you show in your postings.
Welcome to the forum for Sports Fans X or better known as SFX. The idea was created when Patriot_Dynasty12 wanted a group just dedicated to talking football without the drama. Samantha wanted me to set up a forum weeks ago for another reason but put the idea away apparently. When she joined FFU, somehow the need to have another meeting place popped up and she contacted me to see if the forum was still active. I had to move to another URL than where it was before due to bandwidth issue to a lesser used site.
How the forums are set up: There is an application in the forum General area. If you fill it out, you can pass it on to one of the four: Patriot_Dynasty12, lindydawgs8, Samantha, Drac (either Drac or Admin). There is a function to apply for a group, so if you apply for the FFU Members group after the application, it can help but not necessary.
The Team as of this writing for the forum are:

Other areas are still open to be moderated. If you wish for an another area and moderate it, at this point in time, contact Patriot_Dynasty12 or Samantha. If they okay it, then they will pass the information to me to make it so but I really leave that decision to them.
Samantha's three simple rules:
Rule #1, try to keep the general discussion in the Football Fans United section and the sports stuff in the sports section which has football, baseball, and basketball now along with a misc. If we get enough fans of other sports that want their own section, just ask and I can make it happen. If too many general things keep hitting the sports area, I will probably move the thread to this area. I won't delete threads unless it's people arguing.
Rule #2, we have fun and keep our area clean of trolls and troublemakers.
And finally rule #3, if anything goes wrong, it's Drac's fault. You can blame him for anything. I do. hehe Just remember to keep it all in fun because we're here to just have fun without the trolling and drama.
Editorial: I don't agree with rule #3 but I said she can make the rules when I was setting it up. My only rule is no porn posted! This isn't really my rule but one of the web host so don't we don't want to risk losing this place.
